In the Latino community, the importance of family and family traditions cannot be understated.
Family ties often help newly- immigrated Latinos find new jobs, places to live and opportunities to reconnect with the culture and the people they left behind. By relying on each other for economic, cultural and emotional support, Latino communities have been able to grow and flourish far and wide across America.
We can learn a great deal about each other by understanding and appreciating the customs and traditions that are important to each culture. America is enriched by the diversity of its people.
