| Americanos: Latino Life in the United States, a new photography exhibition produced in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution and acclaimed actor/activist Edward James Olmos, offers all Americans the opportunity to learn more about a people who are diverse, yet share a common desire to make our nation better.
We at Farmers Insurance believe every American is enriched by the many contributions made by Latinos in the United States. That is why we are proud to be a major partner in bringing this unique exhibition to a national audience. Our support for this groundbreaking project is a reflection of our commitment to the Latino community and to strengthening the bridges of communication and understanding among all the diverse cultures that make up the United States. Since our founding in 1928, we have been committed to improving the communities where our customers, agents and employees live and work. Investing in our communities is nothing new to Farmers. We have been proud, active partners in bettering the lives of our neighbors across the country for many decades. We continue to invest considerable resources in programs that improve safety, enhance educational opportunity, and increase civic participation in communities across America. We view our support of the Americanos exhibition as a continuation of our history of promoting partnerships and expanding understanding. In addition to our institutional support for these causes, we are undeniably proud of the thousands of Farmers agents and employees who generously contribute additional dollars and hours of volunteer time to organizations in their neighborhoods. We hope you will join the over 30,000 members of Farmers Insurance family in our commitment to improving the lives and communities of all Americans, today and into the future. |
